At Sorlix, we respect the intellectual property rights of creators and content owners. Our platform is built on sharing celebrity news and media responsibly. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes infringement, you can request its removal under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
This page explains how to submit a valid takedown request and what actions we take in response.
How to Submit a Takedown Request
If you’re a copyright owner (or legally authorized representative), please provide us with the following details:
- Your full legal name and up-to-date contact information
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The exact URL or location of the infringing content on Sorlix
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use is unauthorized
- A declaration that the information in your notice is accurate and made under penalty of perjury
- Your electronic or physical signature
We strongly recommend including all of the above to ensure a smooth and prompt response.
Where to Send Your Notice
Please send your takedown request using our official Contact Page. You may also reach out via email if applicable, but the contact form ensures faster processing.
Incomplete or vague submissions may be ignored until properly completed.
Counter-Notice Process
If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notification. It must include:
- Your full name and contact details
- A clear description of the material and its original URL
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was wrongly removed
- Your agreement to the jurisdiction of your local court
- Your electronic or physical signature
Once we receive your counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a lawsuit within the legally required timeframe.
Legal Reminder
Filing false DMCA claims or counter-notices is a violation of law and may result in legal action, including damages and court costs. Please use this process responsibly and truthfully.
